This 10 pack of masks sealed in a simple plastic bag. That is only $2.50 per mask.
Are they NIOSH medical grade approved? NO - but they should work very well for people not working in that field (their masks need to be certified). So I am selling these as "Dust Masks" since they don't have certifications.
From what I have read the KN95 and N95 types of masks are more effective (by about twice) than a bandana or home made mask in filtering efficiency. That suggests they would be better in protecting both you AND the others around you.
I see this type of mask selling online for $6.00 each or so. What a rip off!
Perhaps my pricing will embarrass some of the profiteering bandits out there. I hope so!
But the Peterson goal with these masks is not about making money, instead it is about helping people to avoid getting sick.
I have brought some of these in (a very limited supply) just because I want to help us all get past this virus problem. I have marked them up a very tiny bit just to account for in house overhead. But I am not making a financial profit. The only real profit actually gained is Peterson feeling good about trying to help other people.
Typically these are "one use" masks that are not washable, but when I am done at the store (or wherever), I put mine on the dash of my vehicle to let the sun's UV rays "clean" them for me. A southern exposure window sill would do the same I would think (unless you have windows that filter UV).
More mask products will be added as they come in.
Please limit your purchase to two units per customer.
