Product Description
I was told that Bill Reed of "Reed's Security Reporter" once described a way to easily pick a lock with security pins.
What I was told was he suggested was to hold up all of the lock pins to the top (use a Peterson knife, or even the back or a diamond pick) and then to apply the least possible tension to the cylinder.
Then extremely quickly pull your lifting tool out.
I tried it once - it worked!
This is a 0.010 Pry-bar: with NO teeth. Very flexible for your lite tension.

PETERSON PRY BAR- ULTRA LITE
I bought this and the “with teeth” version to test them out on a couple of “dead core” locks to see if they made tensioning easier. They did! You almost don’t even have to think about it if you’ve already developed the skill to pick dead core locks with serrated driver pins. They also show you just how little tension you actually need to pick a lock, be sure to have a thicker turning tool to fully turn the core if you’re picking an American lock for example or you’ll fling this tool across the garage trying to open it. I definitely recommend them for those off days when you cant keep your tension light or your temper in check.
