The Snap-on of picking tools
So I’m a beginner at picking but I appreciate high quality tools and after a huge disappointment with a cheap set on Amazon I did the research I should of and it led me to the Peterson brand. I’m pretty fussy on my tools and I just can’t put up with cheap Chinese made junk so Peterson’s “made in USA” branding was appealing to me at first glance. I was a little skeptical because of my lack of experience and there were no reviews on this specific set when I bought it but it did have everything I was looking for and then some. First off the case is definitely high quality leather and custom made for picks of course and fits this set tightly but well. Tool quality is excellent, handling is comfortable with the rubber grips (one of the other reasons I opted for this set), and beautifully finished. Using them, even at my experience level is great and you can feel the quality, much like using a set of snap-on tools or the older Craftsman ones. Ordering process was simple and it showed up sooner than expected. Due to a question I put on the order, I received a personal call from the owner, Ken which was awesome and gave me a chance to pick his brain a pit on lock picking and we shared some business knowledge. It’s great to see a small business such as Peterson’s have the reputation and industry presence they have. So in summary weather you pick this set or one of the others you really can go wrong and if you have any product questions Ken will surely have the answer and is a great guy to do business with. This was my first of what will I’m sure be many orders on the site.
