These specially designed tools enable you to pick the cylinder of a small format interchangable core (SFIC) open at the control pin shear line. From there the core can be cleanly removed from its housing. The secret is in the profiled foot that firmly grasps the holes in the control sleeve. Put the tension where you need it!
